Andy Thorpe is an ex-professional footballer turned physiotherapist.
He played for Stockport County for the majority of his career, where he still holds the league appearance record.
“Thorpey” then turned to physiotherapy, studying for eight years to achieve diplomas and a degree, before becoming a chartered physiotherapist in 2001.
Two years earlier in 1999, Andy joined Rochdale AFC as Head Physio and served the Club for 21 years, racking up over 1,000 games in the process.
